Planning the funeral does not always need to be done in rush, although an early decision will need to be made whether as a family you have decided on cremation or burial, and where the service is to take place.

Upon meeting with one of our Funeral Directors, whether at your home or at our office we will patiently sit and discuss all options, and offer guidance & suggestions available to you, and arrange the exact service that you want by tailoring a funeral package to your needs.

Funerals with us can start from £2,350.00 for a very basic funeral service, which is inclusive of our professional fees & disbursements , i.e. cremation fees, doctors fees, and ministers fees.

As members of the National Association of Funeral Directors we at Rumney Funeral Home adhere to the strict Codes of Practice by providing you with a written estimate with all of the costs itemised when making funeral arrangements with you.

If the person arranging the funeral is on any of the following benefits:-

• Income Support
• Housing Benefit
• Council Tax Benefit
• Family Tax Credit

A proportion of the funeral costs may be paid by the benefits agency. In such situations contact the benefit agency before making any arrangements for more information, as they should be able to inform you of your eligibility for such a payment, based on your personal circumstances.
